Our journey and milestones
Project concept and planning
Heronaliva was created to support Australians seeking safe, practical guidance for active living in later life. The initial phase focused on gathering resources and developing an evidence-based approach that prioritised wellbeing and steady improvement.
First community gatherings
Our first community events brought together adults interested in maintaining activity and independence. These gatherings highlighted the importance of community connection and helped us refine our support strategies.
Team and resource growth
We expanded our team with experts in physical activity, wellness, and social support. Their insights enriched our resource library and allowed us to offer more tailored guidance to participants across Australia.
Launch of digital resources
Our project introduced new online materials and guidance tools, making it easier for people to find reliable information on active living from home. The website became a hub for ongoing advice and community support.
